If you have paid a deposit for research to be undertaken by me whether it is for one of the fixed priced packages or custom research, I require the remaining balance to paid in full before I send you the research.

Custom research will not begin until a deposit that has been agreed upon has been paid. If requested I will set up a formal contract specifying the research that you wish me to do on your behalf, the costs that are involved and the budget agreed upon.

My Promise

I commit to doing the best I can when undertaking research on your behalf whether you have bought a fixed priced research package from me or you are paying for custom research. If you have paid for me to research a family line/lines I will research your family lines as far back as I can accurately take them. By this, I mean that I will only present you with information that can be supported with documentation. When I undertake research on your behalf there are no guarantees that I will be able to find some of the information you seek. This may be because the information simply does not exist anymore, as documents become illegible over time, or have been lost or destroyed. I will do my best to work my way around any brick walls that I may encounter when doing research for you.

I will update you regularly as the research progresses. You can be as involved in the research as much you wish to be. You may prefer to have all the information presented to you at the end, or if you would like to be part of the process I can send you as much as information as you like as I continue the research.
